(update) CULLEN, the wait is over!!!!!

The fans seem to either love him or hate him.  There seems to be no middle ground for Cullen who has been a minor character through out all three installments of Dragon Age.  I've read a lot of comments calling him whiny.  A few want a option to kill him. He is a Templar so many hate him for that fact alone. Others think he didn't do enough to stop Meredith's craziness until it was too late to act. Then there is the group of us who have been waiting for his character to be a romantic interest since the mage origin story because his character development has been one of the best in the game so far.

So what do you think of his look. 

The reaction is mixed. Some don't think he looks like himself.  Some say he's not as hot as he was in Dragon Age 2. I loved the fact that they have aged him. (the scar is sexy too)  Ten years have past and a lot has happened.  He looks like a BAMF. He looks like he can lead an army.  That's a good thing. Some wished that he was a companion.  I don't believe he would be in that role at this point in his career.  By the time we see him in DA 2, he had several Templars under his command.  In the aftermath of Anders blowing up the Chantry, he was the one to restore order to Kirkwall in Hawke's absence.



I'm loving the character design.  The armor is unique. It is still within the Templar color scheme.  (look at his sword) I wonder if the lion theme mean something?  I hope he will tag along for at least one mission so we can see him in action.

Anyway, I'm HAPPY that we will get to learn more about Cullen. I'm expecting Bioware to have some sort of twist when it comes to his romance.  It wouldn't be Bioware if they didn't find a way to make matters complicated, but hopefully it will be in a good way.  October 7 can't get here soon enough for me.  I have already pre-ordered this game.
